برگزاری همایش دوسالانۀ انجمن مورخان هنر اسلامی (HIAA): «تغییر رژیم»

هدف این کنفرانس توجه به لحظه‌های «تغییر رژیم» در تاریخ هنر اسلامی و نیز توجه به «رژیم‌هایی» است که به حوزۀ ما ساختار می‌دهد. در فراخوان آن آمده است از مقالاتی دعوت شده که به این موضوعات بپردازند: وضع هنر و معماری بعد از انقطاع‌های سیاسی (نظیر تهاجم‌ها و اشغال‌ها و تغییرها)؛ جایگزینی نظمی نمادین با نظمِ نمادین دیگر (مثلا کتیبه‌های عمومی در فضای عمومی، دگرگونی در قوانین مربوط به پوشش، هنجارهای جدید جنسیتی)؛ انتقال منابع (مثلا هنرمندان، اشیا، کتابخانه‌ها، گنجینه‌ها) از یک قدرت به قدرت دیگر. همچنین از میزگردها و مقالاتی دعوت شده بود که به بررسی ظرفیت‌ها و محدودیت‌های رویکردهای تفسیری و روش‌شناختی جدید برای موشکافی پرسش‌های موجود دربارۀ اشیا، مواد و تصاویر، هم در دانشگاه و هم در موزه‌ها، بپردازند.
